Solid Conditioner Bar Base is formulated in such a way as to provide optimal hair conditioning and nourishment. It is created to be an easy single formula for the Crafter and small business to produce concentrated, packaging free solid conditioning bars.
Processing instructions are fairly simple; in that the Solid Conditioner Bar Base needs to be molten via indirect heating ( direct contact with heating elements will potentially burn the ingredients) to approx. 70 degree C. to ensure the mix is properly molten Then cooled to add the fragrance . The fragrance (typically 1% [max 2%]) can be added whilst stirring, It is suggested that the fragrance is mixed in a 1:1 ratio with a dispersing agent such as Polysorbate 80 [or Polysorbate 20] to minimise evaporative loss. Once the colour and fragrance have been added fill the moulds at the lowest filling temperature typically 55-65 deg C. Once dosed into a mould the product is then left to cool overnight before trying to remove the finished product from the moulds
